Q: Are the toys cleaned before they are hired out?
Yes. The toys are cleaned using pure soap flakes as this has been shown to be the best cleaning product for early childhood services. Not only does the pure soap kill germs but it also leaves a protective barrier on the toys that stops germs from sticking in the future. Toys that are not able to get wet are steamed to kill germs.

We accept cash on delivery, direct deposit and money orders and cheques (made payable to Mobile Toy Library) or you can pay by credit card using Paypal.
Q: How long do we get to keep the toys for?
One month
Q: What if my child loves one of the toys and doesn't want to give it back?
Not a problem. Just notify us before your next delivery and we will arrange for you to purchase the toy brand new and we will bring the brand new toy with us when we drop off your next delivery. The price of each toy is clearly displayed on it's corresponding tag for easy reference.
Q: What are the toys delivered in?
The toys are delivered in a beautiful cane basket each month that goes beautifully with any decor.
Q: Do I need to be home to accept the toys?
Yes. You need to be home when we drop off the toys as we need to collect the old basket, check that it's all there, and you need to sign for the new basket.
Q: How are you an eco friendly company?
We are eco friendly in many ways ranging from the eco friendly wood that our toys are made from (rubberwood) to the paper we use (100% recycled post consumer waste). To read more about the eco friendly toy companies we buy from click here.
Q: What happens if my child breaks a toy?
Each toy comes with a tag that details the educational value of the toy and the price of the toy. At Mobile Toy Library we understand that toys do not last forever and we will not always hold you accountable if a toy breaks. A Mobile Toy Library representative will inspect the damage to the toy and decide whether it is normal wear and tear on the toy, if it is you are not expected to pay anything.
However, if the representative deems that the toy was not damaged due to normal wear and tear then you are expected to pay the price on the tag to replace the toy. If your child draws on the toys for instance and it cannot be removed you are expected to pay the replacement cost and you can keep the damaged toy.
Our toys are beautifully crafted and made of sturdy wood so they last a long time and do not break easily. Because they are made so well you do not need to worry about breaking a flimsy toy as you are only presented with sturdy well crafted toys.
Q: Can I get a gift certificate?
Yes. We do gift certificates for a set amount of money or a set amount of months. A great idea particularly for grand parents! Just email info@mobiletoylibrary.com.au and we will mail the certificate to you within the week.
